The path of austerity for Greece seems inevitable. The country needs to reign in the excessive spending and borrowing of the last years.
However, more and more criticism has been voiced, outlining that austerity measures have been driven to an unacceptable extreme. Greece needs to be able to solve its underlying economic problems: High unemployment and low investment. An exculsive focus on austerity will lead to a deepening of problems in the long run!
